Poor Kenny

Everyone say a little prayer for Kenny...his first final is in the morning! He has been working so hard and has been studying like CRAZY! Luckily he hasn't been stressed and is feeling as ready as he can be. All I know is I am not cut out for law school. I don't know how these guys can study for like 14 hours a day!


I wanted to do a little post to say Happy Birthday to Kelsey! She turned 21 on Sunday. Hahaha, I needed a reason to post these too :). This is her Christmas card to my mom. Oh I wish I could be there to see my mom's face and hear her discust! hahahaha. Kelsey has such a great personality I just love her. (doesn't she have great legs!)

I don't have pictures for all of them(or a great card like this) but Happy Birthday to my little Zander, Preston, Lindsey, and Sesily. All December birthdays.

As for Bennett and I we are off for 3 weeks and will be back after New Years. So Merry Christmas!!!

Bathroom Renovations

Hamster nest you ask?? Oh no, this would be wallpaper.
Wallpaper that took 6 hours (no exaggeration) to pick off with my fingernails and a razor blade. Whoever invented wallpaper was not my friend this day! Every now and then a big piece would come off and it was like Christmas.
Our 2 bathrooms are very little and so they are very humid and wet all the time. Well, both of them stink like urine (sorry for the icky word). After gallons of Clorox I decided it had to be the wallpaper. Sure enough it smelled as I tore every little strip off! eww. They must of pasted this stuff on with super glue because it took tons of the wall off with it. I now know how to re texture a wall! So here are the beforepictures...



And here is the pretty bathroom after. There are still some spots where it looks like acne scares and my texturing abilities could improve, but overall I think it is just so cute now!

Brian Head

This last weekend we met my family in Brian Head for what is becoming our annual scrapbook retreat. The boys were nice enough to help out with the little monkeys and cook for us so us girls could get some scrapbooking done. We got some adorable pictures of the little boys (so funny because in my family its ALWAYS been the "little girls"). Thanks to grandma Lucy they all had just dang cute matching Christmas PJ's.

Little Zackery is being blessed today and I am so wishing I was there to kiss his fat little cheeks! Lindsey let me do his birth announcement a while back and now that it has been sent out I can post it! He is just precious. Yesterday we talked to Zander on the phone and he told us all about halloween, the haunted house, and trick or treating! One of the hardest things about being away is how much we miss our cute little niece and four adorable little nephews (one of which we haven't even gotten to see yet)!

I love fall!

Today we went and took advantage of all the fallen leaves outside. This is one thing I love about Utah! Oregon you have LOTS of fallen leaves...but they are soggy and then soon moldy. Vegas you have five fallen leaves and then the wind blows and they are gone!
Bennett hates the feel of grass on his feet so he was a little funny about sitting on the grass but luckily the leaves kept him entertained. He had to taste test everyone though.
In the last day or so he's has finally gained the patients to sit up! Most of the time he just wants to be rolling around or have someone helping him stand. He's just a cute little man isn't he?!?

What do you get when you collide a knee and a cheek bone....
that's right, a broken blood vessel and a black swollen eye! Yup, Kenny abuses me! I had "missed my exit" as he calls it and was a little on the hyper side. Don't try to pinch his nipples...that's all I have to say!

This weekend our friends Kristin and Marcus let me practice a little photography on them up at Sundance. Their baby Hailey is Bennett's little girlfriend:). She is adorable with the most gorgeous blue eyes...as you can see below.

I always have said we will have no animals in this house...but I would definitely make an exception for these two!!
Kristin and I took Bennett and Hailey to take some Halloween pictures today. Are they not just so stinkin cute!
