I've been majorly neglecting posting all the photo shoots I've had lately, but this one was way too cute to not post! These two little girls were just precious as can be! Don't you just want to squish those cute little rolls...

18 and counting!

In July my family got together for a marathon family vacation weekend in Draper. I love spending time with all these crazy people. We aren't ALL together nearly enough!

We rented a nice house that fit all 18 of us, went to the zoo, played games, played minute to win it, went to park city, went to temple square, ate at the lion house, BBQ'd at the park in the canyon, and had a mean game of water kickball (mean because I nailed poor littler Porter in the head with the ball!)...am I forgetting anything!!

few to no tears (that's a record)

AND it wouldn't be a white family vacation without lots of good eating

I about peed my pants at these pictures...haha Kels i've never seen someone jump with their legs so straight! and bobby the bottom right picture of you looks like you're frolicking or something!

and the rest of these are just for your viewing enjoyment...especially the last one! taylor and ken have something going on that the rest of us don't know about!

I just got home from a birth

...and can't sleep...

this is the 4th birth I've shot in the last 3 months

and I think I've confessed this before, but they seriously make me giddy

is that sick? 

you know when you first start dating and you get home from an amazing date and all you want to do is stay up late talking about the date...this is usually how i feel after i do a birth...poor ken

i don't post birth pictures too often...

they are such private moments i think

but they are by far my favorite shoots

i'm not the best at them...

i curse myself constantly for crappy pictures...

 i forget to capture lots of things...

usually because i'm so caught up in the moment...

or i'm afraid of the noisy shutter disrupting the moment...

and the lighting is usually terrible...

and there's always more grain then i'm content with...

and i'm usually stuck far away from what i want to be shooting...

and i always feel in the way....

BUT i'm sure glad so many of you have let me capture these moments for you!

i love birth

i love natural birth (however, in all sincerity, i think everyone should have a 'perfect' birth and if that means epidural or c-section for you then i think you should have one)

i love that i have all the right parts to have babies

i love watching how amazing our bodies are and how strong they are

....well that's a whole lot of sap from a very unsappy person...

 so i'll sign off now, hopefully i'll have at least a couple pictures to share soon!!
