Baby Einstein & Oh That Curl!
More Renovations
We finally finished painting the kitchen. I love this color, I think its the absolute perfect red. But, as with every project we've done so far, we had a small hick-up. The caulking that they used above the little 4 inch piece of counter that goes up the wall was not paint proof...and in some spots there was caulking a good 2 inches above the ledge. So, after painting it like 4 times and white STILL showing through ken made a trip to home depot. We first had to let this stuff sit on it for hours to dissolve the old caulking, then kenny scrapped for hours getting it off, then he re-caulked it all, then i re-painted it all (several times). It still does not look that great around the edge. There are tiny bits of old caulking in tiny little pieces that refuse to be painted on and remain white making my OCD tendensies go crazy! But overall it looks beautiful!
Do your children look like this after sweet potatoes too?

My "Match"...No Matter What eHarmony Says!
So for a long time now I've been wondering how good these online dating services are. So Kenny and I decided to try a little experiment. Last night we both filled out eHarmony profiles (as if we were single again). It was actually really fun and I was very impressed with their questions. BUT, according to eHarmony....we are NOT a match. They definitely are not as good of matchers as they say they are. Kenny did get matched up with a poor girl who can't drive because she has no depth perception and no arm reflexes (not sure what that means).

Confession...
My total: $125.87
Bonus buy savings: $11.20
Preferred savings: $42.48
Coupon savings: $7.60
Grand total: $64.59
On top of this I didn't even have a few of the coupons (they came in the paper before I started getting it), which means I could have saved even more. So if you are interested in learning how to save this much on your groceries (completely free I might add) let me know. Or if you live in Las Vegas let my sister know. One of the greatest things about this is it has helped me get my three month supply(in some cases even more) on so many things that before I just bought whenever we were having that for dinner that week.

Well I got some fun new stuff for my camera so I of course had to recruit some family to practice on. Here are some of my brother and his beautiful wife. I just think I have the best looking brothers...don't I? Luckily they don't read blogs because neither of them need to be told their good looking :). I will post some more later...my computer is giving me attitude.
