just because..

i needed something a little happier on my blog....this cute little thing is Lucy.
i did her one year old pictures in October.
and that would be a bubble popping in her face

so it's 4 in the morning

i can't sleep

i have hives all over my whole body

everything itches...EVERYTHING

my ears are swollen

my eyes are swollen

i look like Quasimodo

my knees itch

my elbows itch

my sides itch

my head really itches

will someone please come scratch me

....am i making you itch?

i used to think drowning would be the worst way to die...but maybe itching to death would be worse

Who doesn't love Boutiques?

So my cute friend Carlee is having a boutique this weekend.

She has been sewing and crafting since this summer and she has a ton of ADORABLE stuff. 

She is selling almost everything ridiculously cheap for handmade things.

There will be great Christmas gifts and baby shower gifts, plus lots to buy just because...

So do stop by!...this is the flier, the house it is at faces our condo just over the wall!

We are off for Thanksgiving! So excited to spend it with my ENTIRE (all 18 of us) family in Oregon...it doesn't happen very often.

Hope to have the gumption to do some posting when I get back. 

I still have a million adorable pictures to post from my Vegas trip which are quickly becoming old news! 

And we are having a White Family photo shoot...SO excited for that. There are sure to be some cute ones from that.

My Bennett Boy

Bennett has just been neglected on this blog as of late and needs a good post with lots of precious little pictures.

Two & a Half has come WAY too quickly. I feel like he is getting so old and 3 is coming at us like a bullet train!!
I try everyday to rock him and do things for him,
but he is not a baby anymore,
he is constantly telling me 'I not baby...I big' and insists on doing everything himself (except walking up the stairs from the basement when my arms are full...then he fully expects me to carry his little bum!).

The other day we played in the leaves, and just in time too since it's been rainy for two days and the leaves are quit soggy.
I love how kids think if they can't see you, you can't see them!
Bennett was hiding from our cute little friend Benson who just turned 1. Bennett can't stand any children touching him (wonder where he gets that from...for those that don't know, that would be directly passed down from Kenny).
His hair cracks me up in these pictures...what a mop he has!

I so love this age! (I'm pretty sure I've said that about every age)...but i really love 2. Bennett really hasn't gone through any 'terrible' stage yet and is just sweet and good and hilarious as can be.
Sometimes I'm worried we spoil him.
He gets lots and lots of attention.
For example...
EVERY TIME we're at walmart he looks at all the toys for hours
and EVERY TIME we're at any store with a kids section of books...well, he has to read about all of them before we can leave...and we let him

It's really hard sometimes to not wish for the future to come quicker though. Sometimes it's hard to be content with the present especially when it seems like everyone is moving on...and we're not, still stuck students and just the 3 of us.
But I certainly don't want to rush this time either.
I do hate how time has to tick on every darn day! Some days I just really want to slow it down.
I just know all too soon Bennett won't want me to carry him up those basement stairs anymore.
And he'll actually be able to say L-M-N-O-P when he sings his ABC's.
And sooner or later he's got to start sleeping through the night consecutively, and won't need 2 am puppy drinks, rocking, and ask for midnight showings of Mickey Mouse.
I know hours of playing cars, blocks, and reading baby einstein books will turn into something else, whatever older boys do.
Soon he'll be able to pronounce things like 'sacrament', and he won't slurp every time he says ice cream, and want to sing The Wheels on the Bus 500 times a day.
Someday soon he'll quit bossing me around, and won't say 'you do it' every 5 minutes...ok, well maybe he will do this one for a while.
...but I do love now.
I love that I can spoil him with my time and attention.
I love his precious little spirit and his smiles and giggles. I love how much he absolutely adores Kenny. I love his shaggy hair and mile long lashes. I love that he's learned to tease and joke. I love the way he tries to pronounce big words and says things like 'delicious'.

So tomorrow... i guess you can take your time...
if it means i get ALL this right now!

I'm pretty sure I have the cutest nephews in the world, maybe i'm biased but seriously...look at that face! Took a few more of my brother's beautiful family.

The first of many

This is the first of so many shoots from Vegas. This is my brother's brother-in-law, cute wife and precious little girl (follow that?). I think this is starting to be one of my most favorite ages to shoot! They can smile but aren't old enough to run away from you :)...Hope you love them Marissa! You guys look adorable!

It's been a while...

I shouldn't be blogging right now...i have edits coming out my ears! But i couldn't resist just posting a few! i've had a ton of shoots the last couple of weeks (thanks everyone!!!!), and have learned a ton. I am needing a family update on here desperately with some new pictures of my little bennett boy. But for now, enjoy these insanely cute kids that i got to shoot this weekend and watch for a whole lot more to come!

Cooper is one of my most favorite people in the whole world and he is such a cute husband and dad.
Today is Anj's birthday, what a great birthday present to wake up to this!
